It's a year since we started this journey and a lot has changed. Specifically, we have evaluated several boats -- starting with the Leopard, then a Privilege, then a Fountaine Pajot. After touring them at several boat shows and meeting with the local brokers, we have decided to go with a Fountaine Pajot. The one at the top of our list is the FP Saona 47.
Now that we've decided on a boat, the hard part starts. We need to complete the business plan and make all the decisions about where we will keep the boat for charter, how it will be financed, where to insure it, etc. We also need to start thinking about how to come up with the downpayment (which isn't an insignificant feat!)
